Digital thermometers
XS Instruments Digital Thermometers, are portable instruments and use an external temperature probe, available in different versions, to be chosen according to the application. Their large digital display allows for a clear and immediate visualisation of the measured value (°C / °F). Top of the line, XS Temp 70 PT100 Vio: dual channel, data logger for up to 1000 GLP data, with fast download and export in various formats thanks to the free DataLink+ software. For each application there is a specific thermometer that has the characteristics in terms of: accuracy, response speed, temperature range and probe shape, dictated by each individual application. CHOOSING THE RIGHT THERMOMETER: PT100 thermometers: suitable for precision measurements. For temperature control in laboratories, the transport sector, the pharmaceutical industry, the food industry and in general in all production sectors. Thermocouple Thermometers: two instruments in one. XS Temp7 K/T Vio, suitable for high temperature and fast measurements. Thermocouple probes are less accurate than PT100 but can reach very high temperatures, up to 1100°C. Infrared (IR) thermometers: suitable for instantaneous measurements of surface temperatures, taken at a distance without contact. Infrared thermometers are used for temperature checks with immediate response times. Suitable for temperature measurements on solid, opaque, non-reflective surfaces.
